Thailand is one of the best spot for sun power energy usage but lack of sun power used due to less support on technology to transform nature power resource to use in daily life. Thai society still less concern on natural power usage. The Primary problem was the high cost of product and part that import from foreign country, the need of special technician for maintainance which make solar energy not worth to invest in business.
Nowadays they are some other sun power product launch to serve with lower cost.
Price: Price is matter, if you decide to buy import product, it will cost around 100,000 Bath, which exclude installation and maintenance cost.
Worth to invest: You have to compare consuming time of each product as if it worth to invest in the period of time or not.
Material: Material durability, Product Deisgn also after sale service and product warranty like conductor or storage tank must concern.
1. Hot water Tank: Good Tank should be better to collect heat and durable for weather or temperature changes. Most hot water tanks made of Aluminum coating with PVDF. It will be more efficiency for close system as we call “Pressure Tank” that can handle water pressure then the storage tank can be install in further distance, no problem on copper pipe length, no water pump and float valve.
2. Solar Radiation Collector have 2 systems
2.1 Thermosiphon System: Use nature of water circulation system
This system uses the Nature character of water. When it heat up, hotter water will push to rise up on top and colder water run down to bottom. With this theory the heating capacity are mainly on solar radiation density and time consuming to heat. The system power supply mostly 90% from solar energy and 10% support by electric.
2.2 Heat Pipe system: It’s not only use water circulation system but also used non-toxic liquid as a media. It will help to activate Solar radiant absorber and Light intensity absorber. This system will collect heat quicker under less sunshine or in cold weather circumstance that still have some light and radiant.
Heat Pipe system use more solar energy and use less or non electric power in some area.
Heat Pipe can work under low light intensity.
Heat Pipe Principle: To transfer Heat that collect from surrounding to water. That make water heat up quickly and heat pipe header can read air temp up to 150 °C. From that performance, it can guarantee that we can provide enough clean hot water to use. The heat pipe media is non-toxic liquid which it will not direct contact to water which save in use and save in life time of solar collector.
