Why we need Solar hot water system?
Q: Let learn for the basic composition function and strong point of RAVOTEKís products. How Solar hot water system work?
There are 2 main components of Solar hot water system
1. Solar Collector, we use Glass Vacuum tube as solar absorber for absorb the sun insolation which absorber is coating with selective solar absorber layer (SS-AlNx/Cu). We use Copper heat pipe as heat conductor.
2. Hot water Storage Tank which is two layer heat insulators. When hot water transfer to storage tank, the system is use natural flow passing heat exchanger (heat pipe) which will raise up water temperature from 25-30?C to 60-???C . There are two material uses for storage tank which outer tank is Aluminum coated PVDF and inner tank is SS41 coated with PE (Thailand spec). There are 100, 120, 150, 200, 300, 1,000 L and more which depend on customer design.

1. Ravotekís hot water tank is all pressurized tank.
2. Solar Collector, we use Copper Heat Pipe as heat transfer which can absorb solar radiation by temp. The hot vapor gas in heat pipe will rise up from 25?C and heat transfer to water tank directly. This heat transfer system can make less the water scant problem, water leaking when glass tube break from uncontrollable of water temperature during daytime.

Ravotekís product was tested and certified by School of Renewable Energy Technology, Naresuan University Solar Energy Research and Training Center (SERT) for Ashare standard 93-77 and ISO 9860-1.
